Scene 1: Three kids sitting in a park playing near the mud bank, hands missing in clayey goo.
Kid one: There should be something inside ..deep inside..dig dig..
Kid two: Mom says its just a pile of shit..
sharon(kid): I watched mackenna's gold..that movie on tv...all you have to do is mix this mud with water
and it turns to gold.
Kids laugh.. pull hands out of the mud.
Mud sploch on the camera face.

Delhi roads big and empty, clock on car dash board says 12.30 am..warm night air..

VO: The radio announced it the first thing in the morning..*static* hindi radio station cackling

Back to past..Mom brings in tea, sharon 4 years old sits playing..
Mom: They burned a sikh tailor's shop..
Sharon watches the black and white tv with riots shots...trhying to eat biscuits with tea
perfecting the art of not letting the biscuit get too soggy..and using all possible motor co ordination
to get it to the mouth.

Taxi still on delhi road..sharon sits in the front, three other friends in the back.
Girl at the back(frizzy hair): I think Delhi has the most amazing roads, big and huge..like how all things
should be...(naughty grin)
Car moves on..music, girls giggling.

Chennai terrace flat..overlookign the city, lazy afternoon..sharon ambles in with the phone.
